Our Story

Stevenson Accounting has been rooted in Swift Current since 1987, when founder Cliff Stevenson opened the firm on the top floor of the Carmel Mall with a simple but powerful belief: people deserve clear advice from someone who truly cares about their success.

As the firm grew, so did its relationships. Cliff’s son and daughters joined the business, along with additional team members, as more local families and businesses placed their trust in Stevenson Accounting. With that growth came several moves—each one a reflection of the firm’s expanding role in the community—until settling into its current home at 121 Central Avenue North. Today, the firm continues to invest in the future, having purchased the adjacent building and completed a major expansion to better serve clients for years to come.

In October 2022, leadership transitioned to the next generation when Brad Stevenson, CPA, purchased the firm from his father, allowing Cliff to step into semi-retirement. While ownership evolved, the values did not. The focus remains the same: building long-term relationships, providing clarity where there’s confusion, and helping business owners move forward with confidence.
